Costco Dejavu!

So a year ago, i made the trek to costco to return broken luggage and buy new..in the process buying essential foods and stuffing them in the newly opened suitcases to maneuver them on the subway....AND TODAY...it happened again. This time, Ro needed luggage to pack to move back to LA so we bought some, and filled it with goodies. Turned out to be a fun costco treat! Gee Ro and I are silly!

So I went to california for a whirlwind weekend. Went to ben forrest's wedding luncheon, then to chinatown, ca and found the flat fortune cookies MMmmm...then ate burmese food, and watched jacob dylan (bob dylan's son) at a local venue. When it was all said and done day one in sf ended up lasting 25hrs sin sleep. Boy did i ever miss my bed. Two more days in palo alto, ca...churching it up and then the interview. I have been a wreck thinking about making decisions ever since i got to ca. sigh...hopefully with prayer i'll be able to cope better. until then..here's some photos of oakland temple, chinatown, california street, and maiden lane(like the one in ny..ahhhhh).

grad alley 2008

So they give us a grad alley aka: turn our campus into a free give away of junk food, cotton candy, games, hay rides, and music etc.+ firework show. neat right? So we went...it was awesome.

The first, last, and Only class to graduate at Yankee Stadium!

So today we had a commencement all-campus graduation held at historic yankee stadium (in the last season that the yanks will play before they move to the neighboring stadium adjacent to where the Babe once stood.)sigh!!
In attendance were 12000 graduates, families/friends, some dude from the ny giants who got his doctorate, Michael J. Fox, who also received his doctorate..one crazy student who ran across the field during graduation, and nachos and hot dogs galore! The perfect arena for any graduation. The wave was done, beach balls were thrown, fans, pom poms, clackers, and commemorative purple ball caps were given to attendees. All in all, a FANTASTIC event!!

Graduation Day

So much to say. I had a pinning ceremony in times square with breakfast with my folks before the graduation at Mary Poppin's Theater. There, a stupid guy boosted my purse and later I found out he charged $1700 charged on my credit cards+ my ipod was in his possession. I walked up the microphone after the ceremony and asked people to look for my dolce and gabbana (of course fake) purse...then told them that I needed it b/c it my tickets to graduate in it. After that announcement and hum drum, some guy found it in a bathroom, with some stuff in it. I remained calm..the makings of a Critical Care Nurse..BRING ON THE STRESS I CAN TAKE IT!!! I then enjoyed calling credit cards up until i walked for graduation. For a positive spin: THE NANNY, Fran! she came, and she was an amazing speaker. All in All purple NYU sayanora! I am done!!! Now I just have to decide whether John Hopkins, Stanford, or NYC is where I need to be for work. Alas...GRAD DAY 2008 was great. Ate good food, took mom and dad around the city and well, just had a good day despite my purse drama.

So here i am, my eyes literally look like they are popping out of my head..lol. I have two phones, two credit card companies..and I literally was standing behind the curtain alternating between each phone trying to cancel cards...joy! I am so crazy!

babysitter

So I have become a babysitter in nyc. I watch these two little boys in my building. They are so freaking adorable and ever so proper. I have learned to maneuver strollers and buggies around downtown during rush hour, I have learned so much about thomas the train, and also, how important a juice cup is. I think I've become a pretty swell nanny. here's one of my little guys acting silly.

case of the missing keys

So I found these keys sitting in my room when i got back from california last week. My roommate didn't know who they belonged to, nor did i...so i looked at the key chain and looked up the website: whatcolorareyou.com check it out..i almost died laughing. Turns out after a few days, they were one of my other roommate's keys. how they ended up in my room...we'll never know.
