Drenched in the downpour

So I did the whole cheesy row boating in central park last week. It was interrupted by a lightning rain storm. wha? Perhaps sitting in a metal boat on a vast body of water wasn't the smartest thing so after getting on land again I found myself in a torrential downpour. Without umbrellas scurried through the park soaked all the way through, jumping in puddles like everyone always dreams of doing, and arriving at a crowded subway with lots of stares b/c well...I looked pretty hot. It was quite the memory.

So that's what I've heard. Like today, for instance, Sun is good, UV rays have their advantages, being warm is ever so nice, but come on ... humidity plus 95+ degree weather....You've Got To Be Kidding Me!

blue angels, sunshine and roof-ing it, and the brooklyn bridge's birthday

A few weeks back we hit up the Air Show with the Blue Angels at Jones Beach. It was amazing. Good weather, loud planes, sand, beach, nathan's hot dogs, and well, a sneak peek at bath houses. it was really quite fun! A good way to provide entertainment in the skies while laying out. What a smart idea!!

Another fun thing that i like to do in the city when it's hot is lay on the roof til i'm pretty much sweating...it's a little special treat. So a week back was the brooklyn bridge's 125th birthday. It was neat, they lit up the arches with a rainbow of color had lights flashing in the sky. It was neat. Here is a great view in south street seaport.
