Today...was the day...

I put in my first shoulder IV...

Heck, it was access! I think the patient was poked at least 12 times by someone else before my one attempt, in fact, I think 12 was shooting low, whatever the case. I felt so proud of my IV skills. Watch now, I'm jinxed.

Bike Ride to Mt. Vernon, VA

Kristen, the roomie, and I headed down to VA saturday for some good 'ol bike riding fun. We rented bikes in Alexandria, VA and went down the Mt. Vernon bike path...only 18miles round trip for some sweet sweaty bike rolling fun. We had quite the adventure, twists, turns, bike etiquette...it was all just splendid fun. Such a great saturday activity, highly recommended...two thumbs up. Thanks Bike and Roll for your bike rentals to make this possible.

Girl's Weekend 2009 {Idaho}

Yes, we did it....Suzie Q, Jilly Bean, JDubb, and I headed to McCall Idaho, then to Sun Valley Idaho for some great Idaho fun! In McCall we went picnicking, lake boating, tubing, wakeboarding, then to Sun valley for some ice skating, back country, lift riding, and scenic views. It was a blast from the past to see the girls again all together. It was boo-koo fun!!

These pics were taken of us at our dinner at a resort in McCall, Idaho on the water. It was great food and great view...the waiter was even from my home town...random!

Boston...

So sometimes I'm a little crazy.... surprised? I hit up Boston for a little Charles River Kayaking adventure, good sushi, and fun times hangin with Devin. I'm becoming more and more charmed by this city...

the 4th of july....

I worked all day....everyday that weekend. I was able to run out and meet up with some friends for a roof top gathering for fireworks. yippee!
