Disaster Day at work

Today we learned all about how to care for disasters in the area. What to do if XYZ were to occur...etc. So we also tried on the disaster suits for decontamination of ppl coming into the hospital. This suit should pretty much block out most everything. It is was quit the experience.

Blogging has slowed...

I guess with the economy slow down, I've become lazy in my blogging. No excuse! I really need to figure out something interesting enough to blog about. I think just talking about my daily patients would probably violate some sort of hipaa rule, but yea, work is a daily animated story with crazy things going on. Emergency nursing....ahhh!

Married Mentors...

Meet the old roommate and my friend who are my married mentors. I was lucky enough to get to spend a day with them in DC...we museumed it up at the Mint, American History, and National Archives. It was fun! I miss them so much since I moved out to the East. Perhaps I'll end up in SD one day soon. Real soon.

Cherry Blossoms!!!!

Last weekend a group of us hit up DC for the most gorgeous sites of cherry madness...I'm in LOVE! It literally lasts for 2 weeks, so it was a special treat to get to see it all in bloom...woo wee!

VIRGINIA is so much like real life...tractors, open spaces, ahhh heaven. Not to mention those virginia mansions are spectacular to the passerby that makes you think for a moment that you actually want one. These were the interesting things I found in Cville:
